Who we are

Ziktel does water telemetry in Chile for Rural Drinking Water committees (APR/SSR) and industry. We remotely measure water from where it is extracted to where it is consumed.

At the well we monitor the water level (static, dynamic and drawdown), the pump status and current, the line pressure and the flow of the bulk meters. The committee sees everything in a system diagram and knows right away whether the well is recovering or the pump has stopped.

At every connection, the meters transmit by LoRaWAN radio to an antenna (gateway) on high ground, the only device connected to the internet. In an APR, the mechanical meter is swapped for one with transmission, with no civil works. In a plant, we measure on the bulk meters that already exist.

With that, the committee or company sees the daily consumption of every connection, receives leak alerts and has the data ready for billing, without going out to read meter by meter.
